J. Webb, bookseller (?), 1750–51, opposite the Queen's Head near the Sessions House in the Old-Baily / in the Old Baily.
The Penny London Post or The Morning Advertiser, October 31–November 2, 1750, "In a few Days will begin to be published, by Subscription, in 8 Two-penny Numbers, The Life, extraordinary Adventures, and surprising Exploits, of that well-known and famous Beau and Town-Rake, Gilbert Langley, Formerly of Serle-Street, near Lincoln's-Inn, Goldsmith and Jeweller, and afterwards a notorious Sharper and Gamester. In the n November 2–5 issue, it advertised the forthcoming publication of Number 1 on November 10. The set was advertised ("printed by J. Webb in the Old Baily") until May 1751.
