ISLIP (SUSAN), printer in London; (?) Smithfield, 1641–61. Widow of Adam Islip, who died in 1639, leaving his printing presses, etc., to Richard Hearne or Herne, q.v. Hearne appears to have died about 1646, when probably Susan Islip succeeded to the business.
