• Scipio, Cornelius. An epistle to Junius Silanus from Cornelius Scipio. Junius Silanus, at the Time of the Conspiracy of Catiline, was Consul elect. He first gave his Voice against Catiline, then changed his Mind, and voted for him. Scipio, who afterwards was killed in Africk fighting for the Liberty of Rome against Caesar, wrote to Silanus this famous Epistle, in which he arraigns his conduct, and renounces his friendship.
