FREEMAN (JOHN), (?) bookseller in London, near St. Paul's [1748]. Probably a fictitious imprint, found on the title-page of a pamphlet entitled, An Apology for a late Resignation, attributed to Lord Chesterfield. Another imprint of this kind is that of R. Freeman, junior, near St. Paul's, found on a pamphlet of this date. [B.M. T. 1615. 1 and 3.]
