S. Dawks (d. 1737; fl. 1732–1736)

S. Dawks, printer, fl. 1732–1736; must have been Sarah, widow of Ichabod Dawks who passed away in 1730. Sarah Cowles married Ichabod at Holy Trinity church, Chester, Cheshire, 3 August 1687. She appears to have carried on the printing business for several years after his death. Sarah Dawks died on the 6th and was buried on the 9th of June 1737 at St. Mary the Virgin, in Leyton.
