CAMBPELL (A[LEXANDER]), printer in London, Printing House, New Palace Yard, Westminster, 1726–8. In partnership with John Cluer of Bow Church Yard and Printer of Cluer and Creake's Second Pocket Volume of Opera Songs, published in 1726. There is an advertisement of a History of Scotland, printed for J. Cluer and B. Creake by A. Campbell at the printing house in King Street Westminster [Daily Post 1728, January 1st], and during the same year he printed for John Roberts of Warwick Lane a pamphlet entitled The Controversy concerning Free-will and Predestination.
