Note
Generally attributed to Jonathan Swift, except by Woolley, who strongly questions that attribution.

Lord W*****n = Lord Wharton.

Bp of S. Asaph = William Fleetwood.

Half-title: 'Lord W****n's letter to the Lord Bishop of S. Asaph'.
Uncontrolled note
MH-H reports: "The (retouched?) reproduction of the half-title of this copy in Swift's 'Works', ed. H. Davis, v.6 (1951), p.[147] wrongly suggests a variant reading "Two Pense", repeated by Teerink-Scouten & Rothschild. But the true reading is "Two Pence", as in other copies, the "c" in this copy being poorly inked or damaged."
