Osborne gives an approximate date of 1787; however, the imprint suggests a later date. John Marshall was at Queen-Street from 1789. Initially as "John Marshall and Co." until Nov. 1789 when the partnership was dissolved. Thereafter as "John Marshall". See Stoker, D.
