In fact a reprinting of "Mercurius c?icus" by John Booker, with sarcastic marginal notes by George Wharton, whom Booker's work attacked. Wharton used the pseudonym "Naworth" (an anagram). This work should not be confused with Booker's original edition (Wing B3728B), which lacks Wharton's notes.
"Mercurio-c?ico mastix" (Wing W1550), by Wharton, has separate dated title page and pagination; register is continuous.
