The doctrine of baptismes handled[.] In which it appears, that not only the ranting loose people are above ordinances, but all people of this and other nations: yea the new nominall churches live above t[heir] being not baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus, who are under the same temptati[ons] though not in the same degree tempted. Hence their churches cannot be said to be the churches of Christ, or Jesus Christ, nor can they have right to any of the other church-dispensations, it [be]ing the ground of church meeting, 1 Cor. 5.4 Or can any society be said ho [to] stand in the true grace of God, the said baptism only estating men in grace, and free from the law, that they may be baptized with the holy Spirit, grace and truth coming [by] Jesus Christ, John 1.17. so that they are all fallen from Christ and grace. Written by an unworthy witnesse of the truth of God, John Brayne[.]
