Die Veneris 20 Aug. 1647. Ordered by the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, that Tuesday next come seven-night be observed as a day of publike thanksgiving unto almighty God within the cities of London and Westminster, lines of communication, and parishes within th weekly bills of mortalitie, for the great victory obtained against the rebels in Ireland on Sunday the eighth of this present August, by the great blessing of God upon the forces under the command of Colonell Michael Jones, and Tuesday next come fortnight in all the parishes and places in all the kingdome of England and dominion of Wales.
