A spark of light against the cloudy dark day, held forth in a letter to the churches. Shewing that none ought by making hast to presume to set up any other persons over Gods church for elders, then those that the scripture hath in every particular marked out, but to stay till God hath afforded them such; because Gods law is perfect, and God is a holy God. Shewing also the general defection of all sorts of people through the man of sin; and therefore perswading every one that fears God to forbear persecuting one another, and to pity each other, as the dust and stones of Sion, being they all lie scattered in the ruines thereof. Psal. 102. 13, 14
