Note
Apparently issued with various presentation bifolia (the first leaf bearing letterpress presentation on verso and the second leaf bearing an emblazoned armorial on recto) preceding frontispiece and title page. In the Huntington Library copy the dedication ([superscript pi]1v) is to Edward Whaley and is signed "F.F.", i.e. Payne Fisher. Leaf [superscript pi]2r bears Whaley's arms. According to the NUC, the Newberry Library copy has dedication signed: "Fitz-Payne Fisher". Other copies may have other dedications and other arms. This presentation bifolium is included in th above pagination statement.
