This day Captain Trevor, commander of Her Majesty's ship the Triton, arrived here; being sent express by Sir George Rooke from the fleet, to give Her Majesty an account of the victory obtained over the French fleet, after the sharpest engagement that, perhaps, ever was seen. He brought letters to His Royal Highness, dated on board the Royal Catherine off [sic] of Cape St. Vincent, Aug. 27. 1704.
