The conditions propose to publish six sheets of the work, at the price of one shilling, every Saturday, no money was required till the delivery of each number. The first number was to be published on Saturday the 24th of March, 1743-4, and the following numbers regularly ever Saturday morning
At foot of the titlepage: "Proposals at large, .. may be had of all booksellers both in town and country, and of Jacob Robinson, publisher, .. where subscriptions are taken in." - Thomas Osborne published the pamphlets, selected and edited by William Oldys and with a preface by Dr. Johnson, between 1744 and 1746
