Drake entry 9662 and Bristol entry B1233 (for The American almanac) are based on the unique fragment of the present title. the title "The American almanac" was not used for any of Birkett's series after 1738. Drake and Bristol mistakenly report a title leaf at the American Antiquarian Society.

Advertised in the American weekly Mercury, Philadelphia, Sept. 20/27, 1744.
